1.1  We are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this website and of people who register for or purchase the Run the Show programme.

1.2  This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data, and the rights you have in relation to it. It applies where we act as a data controller.

1.3  We use cookies on this website. Where cookies are not strictly necessary for the site to work, we will ask for your consent before placing them. Sections 12 to 15 cover cookies in detail.

1.4  In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to RST Developments Ltd, trading as Build Your Business Online and BYBO Digital. Our full details are in Section 18.

1.5  We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1.6  BYBO Digital operates two websites: bybodigital.com (our main agency site) and buildyourbizonline.com (which hosts the Run the Show programme). This policy applies specifically to buildyourbizonline.com and the Run the Show products and services. Our separate privacy policy at bybodigital.com/privacy-policy covers processing carried out in connection with our agency services.

2. How We Use Your Personal Data

2.1  This section sets out the categories of personal data we process, the purposes for which we process them, and the lawful basis for each.

2.2  Masterclass registration data.

When you register to watch the Run the Show masterclass, we process the information you provide -- typically your name and email address -- together with technical data recorded automatically by our platform (FreedomKit), such as the date and time you first accessed the masterclass page. We use this to send you the masterclass link and any follow-up emails related to the content. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in communicating with people who have expressed interest in our services, and where you have opted in to receive further marketing, your consent.

2.3  Programme enrolment and delivery data.

When you purchase the Run the Show programme, we process the information needed to give you access and deliver what is included. This includes your name, email address, billing address, and payment transaction data. It may also include notes or materials you share during Power Boost calls with Kathy or Jennifer, and any messages you send us for support. We use this data to create and manage your account on FreedomKit, to release module content on schedule, to conduct your included check-in calls, and to provide support. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you.

2.4  Transaction data.

When you make a payment -- whether in full or by instalment -- we process transaction details, including your name, contact details and the details of the payment. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by us. We use this data to take payment, manage instalment plans where applicable, provide refunds where due, and keep accounting records. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you and compliance with our legal obligations, including tax and accounting law.

2.5  Marketing and follow-up email data.

If you register for the masterclass and do not immediately purchase, we may send you a short sequence of follow-up emails over the days following your registration. These are related to the content of the masterclass and the Run the Show programme. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in communicating with people who have actively registered to watch content about our programme, and where you have separately opted in to receive marketing, your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

2.6  Power Boost call data.

The programme includes three personal 30-minute check-in calls with Kathy or Jennifer, one per month. If you book and attend these calls, we may keep brief notes of what was discussed to allow us to support you effectively throughout the programme. These notes are treated as confidential and are not shared outside our team. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you.

2.7  Website usage data.

When you visit buildyourbizonline.com we may process technical data such as your IP address, approximate location, browser type and the pages you view. This comes from analytics tools that run only where you have consented to non-essential cookies. We use this data to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in monitoring and improving the website.

2.8  Correspondence data.

We process the content of, and information relating to, any communication you send us, in order to respond to you and keep records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in administering our business and dealing with communications.

2.9  We may also process any of the personal data described above where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, to obtain professional advice or insurance, or to comply with a legal obligation.

2.10  Please do not send us anyone else's personal data unless we have asked you to.

3. Automated Decision-Making

3.1  We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you, or that similarly significantly affects you.

3.2  The 48-hour countdown window for the enrolment bonus is triggered automatically when you first access the masterclass page. This is an automated system trigger but it does not make any decision about you as an individual -- it simply starts a timer that applies equally to all registrants.

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

4.1  We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.

4.2  Course platform.

Your name, email address and programme access details are shared with FreedomKit (a white-label version of Go High Level), which is the platform we use to host the Run the Show programme, manage your account and send programme-related emails. FreedomKit processes this data on our behalf.

4.3  Payment provider.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We share transaction data with Stripe only as needed to process your payment or instalment plan and to deal with any related queries. Stripe acts as a data controller in respect of the payment data it handles, and its own privacy policy applies.

4.4  Video calling.

Power Boost calls may be conducted via Zoom, Google Meet or a similar video platform. If so, basic contact details may be shared with that platform in order to set up the call. We will let you know which platform we are using when booking.

4.5  Analytics and advertising.

We may use Google Analytics or equivalent tools to understand how visitors use this site, and may use advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of any paid advertising. These tools set their own cookies and may process data about your browsing behaviour in line with their own privacy policies. They are used only where you have consented to non-essential cookies.

4.6  Email platform.

Marketing and follow-up emails sent outside of FreedomKit may be managed through MailerLite, which acts as our processor for that purpose.

4.7  Professional advisers and legal obligations.

 We may share personal data with our accountants, legal advisers and insurers where necessary, and may disclose data where required by law.

5. International Transfers

5.1  Some of the third-party providers we use may process personal data outside the UK. Where this happens we take steps to ensure your data is protected to UK standards, by relying on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How Long We Keep Your Personal Data

6.1  We do not keep personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

6.2  In general:

(a)  Masterclass registrants who do not purchase: email address and registration data retained until you unsubscribe, after which we delete or suppress your data promptly.

(b)  Programme participants: account, purchase and call data retained for the duration of your programme access and for 6 years afterwards, to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations and to deal with any later queries or claims.

(c)  Marketing consent records: retained for as long as we hold your contact details, to demonstrate compliance.

6.3  When retention periods expire we securely delete or anonymise your data.

7. How We Protect Your Data

7.1  We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access or alteration.

7.2  These include secure encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this website and the FreedomKit platform, and access controls limiting who within our team can view personal data.

7.3  No transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

8. Your Rights

8.1  Under data protection law you have the following rights. Some are subject to conditions, so this is a summary rather than a complete statement of the law.

(a)  The right to be informed about how your data is used.

(b)  The right of access to your personal data.

(c)  The right to have inaccurate data corrected.

(d)  The right to have your data erased in certain circumstances.

(e)  The right to restrict processing in certain circumstances.

(f)  The right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to object at any time to processing for direct marketing.

(g)  The right to data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means.

(h)  The right to withdraw consent at any time, where our processing is based on consent.

(i)  The right to complain (see Section 9).

8.2  To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 18. We will respond within the timeframes required by law, normally within one month.

9. How to Make a Complaint

9.1  If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, we would welcome the opportunity to put things right. Please contact us using the details in Section 18.

9.2  We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and provide a full response without undue delay.

9.3  If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can do this without complaining to us first, though raising it with us first will usually be quicker. 10.1  This website and our programme content may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices or content of those websites.

11.1  The Run the Show programme is designed for adult freelancers and service providers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we hold a child's personal data without an appropriate basis, we will delete it promptly.

12. About Cookies

12.1  A cookie is a small file containing an identifier that is sent by a website to your browser and stored by it. Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
